Valo (Rock Tracks)Home: USA An amalgam of many styles, the band VALO is a guitar driven soul vibe with a sound transcending simple categorization. Based out of St. Louis the group excels in live performance, and believes that good solid songs are the foundation that everything has to be built from. Valo's history is based around 2 brothers, Jeff, and Chris Sabol, who have been performing music together for over fifteen years. in clubs before Jeff was old enough to drive. Jeff and Chris are the primary writers and arrangers, and both have extensive engineering experience, whether it's behind a big console with a tape machine, or working with Pro Tools at home. As the driving force behind Valo, the brothers Sabol have to wear many hats, handling the business side as well as the music side of things. The group has spent countless hours on stage honing their craft including relentless roadwork here in the U.S. and abroad. "Adopting to many different situations has taught us to just go up and play our best. If we are enjoying ourselves it comes across to our audiences." States Chris. "We can't expect our audience to feel what we're playing if we don't feel it ourselves." Currently Valo is writing and recording new material and pursuing a few publishings and movies/TV licensing film "Storm of Beauty". One song will also be on the new Makeastar.com compilation CD out this fall. The future seems to be bright for the band, and perseverance, and commitment will lead them to great things. |
