Born in Pennsylvania, the oldest son of George and Florence Bures, William Bures attended Catholic school and was cast in several high school productions. He participated in a forensics program for 3 years and won several academic tournaments. After being inspired by the music of Elvis in the 60's, William began collecting records, and created his first lp, the "Partridge Family," he also became a dedicated ABBA fan in the 70s. After his first national recognition for songwriting, William's began successfully submitting material to MTV.
William Bures' credits include "Making of the TRL Tour 2001," "The Real World" & PBS "In The Mix" 2001, and reality T.V. He moved to New York in 2001 to open recording studio geared toward the songwriter called Route 66 Recording, located on Locust Street, one block from the Fleetwood train stop in Mt. Vernon. He is currently working with several artists and many music styles. The studio is home to over 30,000 records and CDs. His current musical influences include Missy Elliot, Da Buzz, Shakira, Blink 182, Nelly, Pink, Creed.

He was responsible for all music and coordinated all events and shows including recording artists Lonnie Gordon, Crystal Waters, Martha Wash of C&C Music Factory, Divine, The Flirts, Evelyn Thomas, Pamela Stanley, and Sylvester.
