California Composer Jim Underwood is a remarkably inventive multi-instrumentalist. As a touring musician and an independent producer he brings a jaw-dropping versatility and playful creativity to his work. As a former copywriter for a major East Coast AM-FM radio station, he understands the musical constraints of voiceover work as well as the nuances of incidental pieces. Through his association with Live Nation, he’s worked for numerous national acts including Bruce Springsteen, Norah Jones, Tori Amos, and others. We are psyched to have Jim on board with his hot new tracks!
Jim Underwood often refers to himself as a singer/songwriter and obscure novelist. Actually, his fiction has been published by Warner Books in the United States and overseas and by both Crown and E.P. Dutton. (non-fiction) He’s currently writing a screenplay, but assures us his first love is music.
