Award-winning German Composer Mitsch Kohn loves to turn big emotion into big sound. He offers a bright variety of film music in Classical, Pop, World, and Spiritual genres, with influences ranging from Björk, Zimmer, Williams, Miles Davis, and Tori Amos. He studied music and composition in Osnabrueck and Oldenburg, plays piano in several international ensembles like MalikMe, and has been featured in over 300 projects. In addition to writing his first symphony in 2009 for 240 musicians, Mitsch scores for German TV and Films, nature documentaries, and peace and spiritual projects.
Mitsch Kohn loves to support peaceful projects with his music and intends to touch the hearts of the audience with every single note. In addition to the above-noted icons, Mitsch's music is inspired by the Esbjörn Svenson Trio, Norah Jones, Jeff Buckley, and the big emotional orchestral themes. He has had extensive involvement working with singers like Bea Linska and Michelle, and is involved in some peace-projects.
In the past, Mitsch has won a number of composer competitions such as Unisong 2003, and came in No. 2 in the Great American Song Contest 2004 and 2006, the UK-Songwriting Competition, and several others.
