Moon and Sung is a collaboration between Pauline Pember and Kees Woestenburg -- two accomplished composers and producers based in Amsterdam. In a unique creative process, Kees does most of the music composing, then Pauline writes lyrics and vocal melodies to fit the mood of the song. They also bring in other talented artists to help develop their ideas, such as vocalists, musicians, and poets. Work started on the album Heartland in May 2010, when the idea arose of making songs mixing Electronic and Acoustic elements. They bring us music in the Pop, Lounge, and Hip Hop genres.
A mix of hip-hop beats and sounds with jangling guitars and a strong socio-political message presented as laid-back rap poetry. Possibly for dramatic scenes in social drama's or where a strong personality needs to be suggested. Spoken Word, Hip Hop, Alternative Rap
A real mix of electronic and acoustic styles with a rhythmic vocal on top. The vocal is a real performance that tells the story of a band's success and demise. Lots of rhythmn here. Usable for any urban scenes, especially with success/failure as subject. Mixed Rap, Hip Hop, Alternative Rap
