London-based composer Andrew Robert Bird draws on an eclectic palette of sound, influence, and collaboration with international artists. From pure Electro to Folk, Orchestral, Pop, Ambient, and Dramatic pieces, his music can be described as epic, dense, textured, and sometimes even whimsical, but most importantly it is always ripe with emotion. In addition to his solo releases and session work, Andrew produced Esther Mitchell's album "Do They Blame Us," and wrote music for the feature film "The Human" and the Maria Heidelmann documentary "Benefit for Dolphins."
Andrew Robert Bird's additional credits include: string arrangements for Eight's album "Shift," sound design for BBC's iPlayer on Wii Console, composer for an International Migration Organisation documentary (6 Traditional African songs representing 6 stories), and composer for the documentary "A City Transformed Through Sport."
Volt is a brilliant melodically driven bed or stand alone electro track. With elements of early 70's and 80's synth-pop, a beautifully re-cut classic drum break and current sound design, this track positively chugs along with plenty of pace to cut to, darker moments perfect for voiceover. Instrumental, Electronic, Electropop
Robots! Dance! Fun! Lightly gesturing at weird things people do; a cute robot voice sings this enjoyable and geeky little electro song before taking to the dance floor for a few bars. Perfect for tech, science, irony, showreel, entertainment, this bouncy track will make you smile …and dance badly! Instrumental, Electronic, Electropop
