Based in the UK, Malaya Blue is a gifted singer-songwriter working in the Jazz, Blues, Soul, Lounge, Swing, and Pop genres. She has worked as a top session singer for over 10 years, and she's also been featured on a number of successful Dance releases through labels such as Ministry Of Sound, Universal, Hed Kandi, Pure Funk, BMG Japan, and Konami. In 2013, Malaya scored a big radio hit with her track "Lady Sings The Blues," hitting the number one spot in the German Pop Jazz Radio Chart and beating the likes of Katie Melua and Jamie Cullum.
Malaya's unique brand of retro style Pop-Jazz based music will enhance powerful scenes in Film, TV, and Commercial projects of all kinds. She is currently in the studio working with producer Andy Littlewood on tracks for various media projects and also preparing for the release of her solo debut album, Bourbon Street.
