Clemens Wijers composes high-end Orchestral and Dramatic music for short films, commercials, corporate videos, and other projects. Particularly skilled in the Horror genre, he is the co-founder and the main composer in the internationally well-known Horror Metal act Carach Angren who has released four full-length albums and played 200+ shows all over the globe. In 2014, Clemens had the opportunity to work on Orchestral arrangements for the new band Lindemann by Rammstein’s singer Till Lindemann and Pain/Hypocrisy’s Peter Tägtgren.
In 2002, Clemens Wijers spent one year studying at the Tilburg Conservatory to refine his skills while continuing to compose music. As a founding member of the Symphonic Black Metal band Carach Angren, he writes a large part of the band’s music using Classical music as both a foundation and an inspiration. After four official album releases and hundreds of shows worldwide, Carach Angren continues to gather widespread acclaim from international media outlets and an ever-increasing number of dedicated fans.
