Mickey Wynne (Indie Rock Tracks)Home: UK Mickey Wynne was born in Liverpool, England and was taught guitar by his father at the age of six. By sixteen he was accomplished enough with this instrument to be teaching Julian Lennon guitar. Already accustomed to long music listening sessions-both rock, folk and classical with his grandfather and uncles, Mickey started writing music at age nine, a talent that led to him, inter alia, becoming house writer for New York's MCA Records. He now runs his production company Harmonia Productions, making music for film, TV and aspiring artists |

At 15 Mickey cut his teeth with his first band - Captain Zombie and The X-Ray Plates. He’s recently played some rare dates with his new band The Mickey Wynne Band – to preview his solo artist EP, Running on Empty - at the 12 Bar Club in 'Tin Pan Alley' – Denmark Street, London and a Release Party at Brighton's Prince Albert In his session guitarist career Mickey has played with Tim Rose (RiP), Grammy winners John Entwistle (RIP) and Ronald Magness, Mick Flynn and Patrick Bergin. In his writing career Mickey has cowritten with among others Tim Rose, Pierre Tubbs, Patricia Morrison, Anastasia, Patrick Bergin and Chris Coco |
