A prolific songwriter, Ben Jones recorded his first album of songs with his high school band the Blacklight in 2009, released on Red Moon Records. More recently he has released music from his duo Bones along with various solo tracks and collaborations. His first band opened for the Music, the Script, the Charlatans, the Guillemots, Idlewild, Stateless, the Mexicolas, and the Stranglers. He has an album and three EPs under his belt and has gigged all over the UK. A track from his first album was picked up by Sony TV for a prominent drama series trailer that ran over three years. Working with various collaborators Ben is regularly producing new music and building a catalog of thoughtful, inventive, and distinctive songs with instrumentals and alt edits. |
