Steven W Rodgers, Washington, DC composer, lyricist, and arranger, has worked with Broadway’s Ashley Park, known for Mean Girls and Mamma Mia, and with Quebec singing sensation Nicole Raviv. His passion is musical theatre, with subgenres ranging from Rock, Jazz-Pop, and Neoclassical, to Broadway show tunes and dramatic scores for film. He has written three musicals and over 300 songs. Steven’s studio recordings feature only live instruments with virtually no synthesized sounds.
Steven W Rodgers has worked with guitarist Paul Bell from the Blues-Rock group The Nighthawks. His studio work is recorded using only live instruments (no synthesized music), including French Horn, trumpet, saxophone, trombone, violin, viola, cello, piano, drums, electric and acoustic guitar, bass guitar, oboe, and flute. In addition to his recorded music, he has worked with Encore Dance Company of Virginia, Magic Mirror Theatre in New York, and American Musical Stage Company of Virginia.
