This powerful, passionate, poetic and emotive transatlantic collaboration between renowned American rock guitarist Jay Tausig and British singer-songwriter Steve Swindells alludes lyrically to Steve's sun-sign Scorpio and him being a Dragon in Chinese Astrology - and then some. Killer vocals. Male Vocals, Rock, Classic Rock
An impassioned, spellbinding vocal performance by Steve Swindells on his soulful ballad about the 'red mist' that is anger, with poetic lyrics and a strangely warm melody and production, which perhaps promises some kind of calm after the inevitable storm. Male Vocals, Rock, Rock Singer-Songwriter
This is an epic, sweeping, evocative, piano-led, free-form ballad from Steve Swindells' alter-ego Thom Topham featuring the mellifluous flugelhorn of Sade band member Stuart Matthewman. Written in Barcelona in 1988, it's a lyrical travelogue of one man's voyage of discovery. Male Vocals, Rock, Rock Singer-Songwriter
A dark, poetic, brooding cry of pain - both physical and emotional - from Steve Swindells' Bowie-esque alter-ego Thom Topham. It takes you on a questioning journey through metaphorical urban, industrial wastelands where no-one helps and no-one cares and the only redemption is self-belief and faith. Male Vocals, Rock, Rock Singer-Songwriter
This is Steve Swindells' original, dynamic and impassioned 1980 recording of 'Martyrs And Madmen', which was covered by Roger Daltrey of The Who soon after and featured on both his 'Best Bits' and 'One Of The Boys' albums. Also features Simon Townshend (The Who) and the Big Country rhythm section. Male Vocals, Rock, Rock Singer-Songwriter
Very catchy, upbeat, feel-good song featuring Jon (Culture Club) Moss on drums, Winston (Massive Attack) Blissett on bass, Jerry (Hawkwind) Richards on guitar and Steve Swindells on Keyboards and vocals. It would be perfect for a scene in a movie where someone realises that they've fallen in love. Male Vocals, Rock, Pop Rock
