IT’S CHRISTMAS TIME

VS.1		It’s Christmas time in the city.
		Where lights are shining so bright.
		The snow is falling, kettle * bells are calling 
		On this Christmas night.

		Oh hear the choirs singing carols
		While people walk to and fro.
		Shoppers are busy with the children all dizzy
		And their faces aglow.		

CHORUS	        It’s time for Christmas
		All over the earth.
		A time for people to care, for us to share 
		And celebrate His birth.

		Angels in heaven
		Sing eternal praise-
		Continued worship of a King and His birth. 
		It’s Christmas every day!

		Where stars are shining so bright.
		Excitement’s growing, will old Santa be showing
		On this Christmas night?

BRIDGE	        Child hearts are waiting on this night to hear the sound of 
                   Santa’s Sleigh.
		But God is waiting for our child-like hearts to know His love and 
                   seek His way.

		The tree and glittering lights.
		Children fixating on the presents now waiting
		For the time that is right.

		To know the meaning of Christmas,
		Is to really know the meaning of love.
		God gave us purpose when He came to serve us-
		Son of God above!
