Down in the bayou, deep in the swampland
Everybody’s feelin a bit of good cheer

Boudreu’s  in the parlor hanging up some tinsel trying ta make dat tree look really nice

All de children, eyes like saucers
Waitin’ for dat skiff  to arrive
