Ain't No Place (for a white man these days)

For a long, long time we've had blood on our hands
`cause we kidnapped a lot of people from their African homelands
We should have been brothers and sisters but we made `em slaves
Now there ain't no place for a white man these days

The way we treat women should make a man weep
We bully `em with money/Treat `em like meat
They do more than equal work but they don't get equal pay
Now there ain't no place for a white man these days

Then there were the Indians/We drove them to their knees
Now it's reservations that strip away their dignity
And that damned Ku Klux Klan says we're supreme
But I smell Hitler's ovens/I hear 7 million Hebrews scream

We're Einstein and Shakespeare/Mickey Mantle, Renoir and Bach
Ah, but it's dangerous talkin' that kind of talk

I won't ask for mercy/We can't plead for sympathy
It's hard to feel sorry for someone who craps where he eats
But I'm hoping for some balance/I hope our goodness finds its way
`cause there ain't no place for a white man these days
