During my youth my wife and I loved to sit in the Cafes of Lisbon listening to the singers lamenting their memories and this haunting sound reminded me of the pedal guitar which I added to a Bossa Nova rhythm. This captures the Portuguese influence on the Bossa It is an original sound based on past.
