End Of The Fight

Last night I couldn't get much sleep
my mind was much too busy and digging in the deep
I was thinking of you and I don't know why
I opened my eyes and I started to cry

I don't know where you are
but I do know it is much too far
heaven will help me to have you back again

This morning it was hard to get up
my head was aching but I was doing my job
so many questions running through my head
too many sorrows, too many tears to shed

I don't know where you've been
what are you doing in between?
heaven will help me to have you back again

I'm thinking about you every day
all I can do is to kneel and pray
every morning and every night
but one day I'm sure it will be the end of the fight

I know you don't feel the same
and only heaven knows who really is to blame
what I am hoping for is surely no crime
to get you back and to turn back the time

I don't know what you do
are you alone and feeling blue?
heaven will help me to have you back again
