One step back

I used to get up in the morning
Way before sunrise
Out of the warm bed 
And wipe the sleep out of my eyes

A cold shower hot coffee that`s how I started the day
Get myself dressed quickly I was on my way

Out on the highway
Both hands on the wheel
No one really asked me 
Asked me how I feel

I was tired of living a life rushing through the day
Only for the rent and the bills that I have to pay

One step back and don`t turn around
Give yourself a break get your feet on the ground
One step forward and one to the right
Out of the haze out of the night
One step back and don`t turn around
Open your ears and hear the sound
One step forward and one to the right
Open your eyes and see the light

Everything around me 
Is changing much too fast
Maybe I am looking 
For something that will last

Something will give me the reason to carry on
Something will give me the strength to be strong

One step back …

Open your ears and hear the sound
One step back
Don`t turn around

I got my mind made up, now I know why I couldn’t see
I was living in a maze, didn`t know how to set myself free
