Immortality
Twisting in the ring of fire the man said to his other there is a question in the mire
I haven't seen the mother but when a person walks up to the liar there is a devotion to the father
There's only one chance in life and that is the final notice
And maybe in a moment or in strife there's one thing and that it's a novice 
The fact that we are only here for a life it's no chance we won't see our service
Good and bad are here for our life sometimes we see them sometimes we don't
Only one chance  that we see them in flight maybe we don't know where we've been tonight
We always see the rising of the tides and the missiles will be by our side
But the Jesus Christ will tell us how to ride
I know it's immortality that will be mine
Once I'll be here and tomorrow the fame will be mine
There's only so much fame one can acquire
And the other life will be on the other side

I want the fame but a later time they will rave
Once Elvis was gone we couldn't get enough
The chapter is over there will be new heroes
That will come to our service
We want to grab onto them because we want them to be ours
We want to hold onto them because there is such a desire
We want to latch on them because they satisfy a craving
Remember they can never be yours
One in five will impersonate Elvis Van Gogh cut off his ear out of spite
He was jilted by a prostitute and his life was trite 
He only sold two paintings while he was alive
And now his paintings go for millions and the people are going wild
He painted his last painting and shot himself but he couldn't deal with the rejection
If only he knew how his life would turn out he could of had a fantastic life
And I'm sure he would have taken a bride

If only Van Gogh knew what the future would bring I'm sure he would have waited for the King
