Guy Zerafa studied classical guitar at the Royal Conservatory of Music, Flamenco guitar at the Eli Kassner Guitar Academy and Renaissance lute with Terry McKenna. After a two-year foray writing music for television advertising with Rosnick MacKinnon Webster, followed by the Einstein Brothers with commercials for American Express Coke, Ford, Toyota and many others, Guy Zerafa is now exclusively producing music for film and television. His compelling and original music has been heard on every major network worldwide. Earlier credits for Guy include winning the Best Dramatic Score for the Leo Awards with his score for A Feeling Called Glory. He was also nominated for Best Dramatic Score with his associate Dave Klotz, for the Golden Horse Awards (the Asian Academy Awards), for their score for Eye In The Sky. He and Dave were nominated for Best Dramatic Score for the Gemini Awards with their score for "Irish Chang: The Rape Of Nanking." Guy and Dave's work on the film "Exiled" was included in Hong Kong’s official entry as Best Foreign Film for the Academy Awards. Their work has also been released on three soundtrack CDs worldwide. |
