Originating in the 1960s, when musicians combined aspects of jazz harmony and improvisation with styles such as funk, rock, rhythm and blues and Latin jazz. During this time many jazz musicians began experimenting with electric instruments and amplified sound for the first time, as well as electronic effects and synthesizers. Many of the developments during the late 1960s and early 1970s have since become established elements of jazz fusion musical practice.
A synth and analogue combo of driving funky grooves and occasional wild changes. Full of both toe tapping moments and prog rock weirdness. Great as background source music that requires a little eccentricity. Instrumental, Jazz, Jazz Fusion
A progressive funk groove with a late 80s sound. Wurlitzers, vintage organs jam over steady bass & guitar riffs. Big solo build to a recap and mellow ending. Great as source music for a specific time and place. A definite good feeling, toe-tapping vibe. Instrumental, Jazz, Jazz Fusion
Funky track with a steady groove and a catchy hook. E-Piano and synth leads with an improvised style. Slightly comedic, tounge in cheek, humorous. Retro voice cuts during intro and outro. Instrumental, Jazz, Jazz Fusion
