Originally from the outskirts of Chicago, Lauren's style is strongly influenced by its bluesy, soulful history. She grew up listening to artists like The Pointer Sisters, Bonnie Rait, Eva Cassidy, and Etta James while being classically trained and obtaining a Bachelor's degree in voice. In 2015, following with the release of her first full-length album, "Truly Me," Lauren won "Female Vocalist of the Year" through the Midwest Music Awards. Her song "Close" was also nominated for Best Song of the Year and the album placed in the Top five albums of the year through Pitch Music Awards in Kansas City! In 2016, she worked on two singles with Sean Michael Kelly (previously of the band 'Six Pence None The Richer'), recorded at the legendary Ocean Way Studio. In 2017, Lauren moved to Nashville to pursue music full-time, where she recorded and her new 6-song EP, "The Game."
The EP's title track, "The Game," is a sexy, bluesy roots-rock number that uses baseball as a metaphor for the complicated game of love. Lauren's smoldering, no-nonsense performance and her Music Video are an out-of-the-park Home Run! WE JUST LOVE IT!
