The year 2020 has been unlike any other. Concerts were canceled, movie theaters have closed, and Broadway SHUTDOWN! The entertainment industry came to a standstill. Enter, Tender Claws, an award-winning art and games studio based in Los Angeles, and its innovative virtual reality experience 'The Under', in which VR, gaming, and live theatre combine in a stunning 'immersive' experience. This summer, Tender Claws launched "The Under Presents: Tempest," a live, interactive, and intimate reimagining of the Shakespeare play. One of the first ticketed, remote VR LIVE theatrical experiences, the innovative production received national attention in Forbes Magazine and the New York Times.

"Participants are guided by a live actor who was to play Prospero in a stage production before COVID-19 hit. As the actor dreams about what might have been, participants are “cast” as Prospero’s spirits to realize a unique virtual performance. With personal variations among each actor, and new groups of participants at each showtime, no two performances of The Under Presents: Tempest will be the same."

HURRY! After a highly successful initial run, "The Under Presents: Tempest" is back from November 5 through November 15, 2020. Showtimes are ticketed within a 3-hour window, between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM (PCT). The Under is a multi-player VR experience, exclusive to Oculus Quest and Rift.
