The Happiest Place To Be

I made the first steps through the rain
to number seventyfour
running through the letters I bring around
and slam the the postbusses door
when I saw the oceans roar
from a postcard of a distand land
a glimpse of "what am I doining here and
is this the life that I once planned"

But I will fly to the top of the world
the happiest place to be
I'll make it big with some brilliant ideas
and get all I deserve
live my life for what it is worth
will the people outside in the world
turn their eyes upon me?

Another sleepless night that will not end
And what would have happened to me
a tram's sound comes across the street
if I have made my degree in marine biology
mom is on the answering machine
and all the awkward questions too
she knows all the answers for her life
but mine just turns from black to blue

It hits me like a stone
every time I think about my girl
