Kentucky Composer and Arranger Chris Munson has engineered or performed on over 1,000 recordings. This talented drummer and percussionist has been nominated twice for a Grammy for his exceptional drumming skills. With over 15 years recording experience, including demos, albums, live concert and film, Chris also teaches recording arts and applied drum set at Eastern Kentucky University. Chris has developed quite a fan base through his performances with the EKU Faculty Jazz Quintet and as a sideman in the Lexington area.
Chris Munson has recorded or performed with David Amram, Jorma Kaukonen, Vassar Clements, Mickey Rapheal, Tim O'Brien, Jerry Douglas, John McEuen, Anders Osborne, Trout Fishing in America, Ronnie McDowell, Greg Osby, Jeff Coffin, and David Carradine, among many others.
