Cousin Kate is a band led by twins Corinna and Isabelle Cott. With many ethereal harmonies, they refer to their genre as MAP, or Melodic/Alternative Pop with positive lyrics. Their belief in the connection of everything promotes their goal to bring more happiness and love to this world through their music (100+ songs), lyrics, and their presence. Corinna and Isabelle grew up in Germany, and they frequently mix German into their predominately English lyrics. Their song "Through The Air" is used in an HBO TV show airing internationally.
Their songs "Life Without Fear" and "Up To You" are used in a documentary about Steve Zee, a young man with cerebral palsy. "Life Without Fear" has also been used in the short movie "Just Marriage" by Angelia Bella. Their German song "Liebe Lebt" has been chosen for a movie by Tracy Aziz, which will start production soon. Lyrics for the songs "It’s Warmer Here" and "Up To You" have been published in the e-magazine Inkless Magazine.
