Born in Valencia, Kevin Coem is a Spanish composer, producer, arranger, and singer-songwriter. After learning English, Japanese, and music theory, he began his career as an independent Japanese-language singer in 2012. He received positive support from Japanese singers May J., Nana Tanimura, and Miho Fukuhara, as well as music producers U-Key zone and Kikuchi Kazuhito. Combining pop and electronic music with a lively and festive vibe, Kevin has released 11 singles and 4 albums, and has performed live in Japan and in his native Spain.
Kevin Coem’s first venture in the music industry was participating in a project for Japanese TV show "J-MELO" on public network NHK World, Japan's national broadcasting organization. Working with local singer Ai Takekawa and guitarist Marty Friedman, they produced an original soundtrack. That project encouraged Kevin to focus on the Japanese music industry, and performing live in Japan became a reality shortly after his debut.
