The Easter Ducks Parade

There was a little duck who was cute as she could be,
She dressed up real pretty so everyone could see,
With a pretty Easter bonnet, that had ruffles all around,
And then she started quacking, up the streets and down.

Then before you knew it, there were duckies everywhere,
Dressed up in their best and finest outerwear,
Quacking up and down the streets, in every part of town,
It really was quite a sight that ever could be found.

There were tons of duckies, splendid as could be,
Showing off on Easter morn for everyone to see,
Butterflies were in the air and birds were singing too.
Every duck looked so grand as they went marching through.

It truly was a great parade, the best I’d ever seen,
For every duck for miles around had gathered on the green.
They were really proud to be dressed for Easter Day,
And then to my amazement,
--they bowed their heads to pray!—
And then they all turned and said,

	“HAPPY EASTER DAY!”
