Love is Bipolar
You fall in love with this illusion
That with this love, you’ll have completion
But in the truth, you’re always craving
For something that is so evading

It’s not the truth, what poets say
But troubadours must earn their pay
You’ll fall in love-- you’ll hate this love
This love will crush your ideals of love

But in due time, you’ll come to notice,
That love’s not sane, it’s so bipolar
Emotions fly right through the window
So right or wrong, love will control you

You’ll love and then-- you’ll hate again
But through it all you’ll love again

Now disillusioned from this romance
You seek what poets failed to promise
That love is being with those you care for
And holding all the rest in your heart
