The Insex has cultivated a unique following carving music that combines Rock with British Pop. Wayne Charvel, the founder later started a guitar manufacturing company in the early 1970s, which became the well-known Charvel guitar company. He has built guitars for artists like Eddie Van Halen (Van Halen), Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Hank Williams Jr, David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) and Pete Townsend (The Who) to name a few.
