Henk Pool is a classically trained composer, songwriter, producer from the Netherlands, working in the area of TV and Film, but also for Pop projects. He works creating sounds while teaching songwriting at the prestigious ArtEZ Conservatory and Pop Academy. With multi-platinum and gold success both in the USA and Europe, Henk has had songs cut by Avalon (Testify to Love, DOVE Pop song of the Year, a six weeks #1 USA CCM charts, First Love, on ‘A Different Light’) and Wynonna.
Henk Pool is an impressive artist with credits that are off the charts including Marco Borsato (Multi Platinum in the Netherlands), Laura Pausini (It), Chris McClarney (USA), Laura Fygi, Kelly Minter, RoSeWooD, Willem Botha (SA), Chris Eaton (UK), Moya Brennan (Ireland), Charly Luske, Pearl Jozefzoon, Sharon Kips (X-Factor winner) (NL) and Marie-Eve Janvier (Canada, France). His songs have made it into US films including ‘A Foreign Affair’ with Tim Blake Nelson & David Arquette, and Shows like 'Touched by an Angel,' 'America's Biggest Loser,' Frog & Friends amo. Henk composed the orchestral score for ‘The Roymann Closure,' with Robert David Hall (CSI) which featured music recorded in Prague, with the ‘City of Prague Philharmonic.' The title song for the successful and award-winning film 'Cool Kids Don't Cry' (the song was nominated for a prestigious Rembrandt Award which had 7 million views on Youtube. Henk's songs have appeared in theatre pieces like Birgit Kaandorp and Ivo Niehe, The Voice of Holland Finales (2x) which both turned into Top three hits. Besides his work for artists and album projects, he is a highly sought-after film and TV composer.
