Artist Mary Saunders Brizard is a lifelong songwriter who in the eighties composed for theater in London England and Newport, RI. In the nineties, she played at Christian coffeehouses and church worship teams. The last decade she has published two albums with the first album earning four Grammy nominations and the second album having three in the Christian/Gospel singer-songwriter genre. Today Mary uses the Acoustic guitar often with alternate tuning, mandolin, dulcimer primarily for instrumentals, and sometimes the keyboard.
Mary Saunders Brizard's recent instrumental material has been accepted on various radio stations and also Pandora. She has a lifelong amount of material retained that has yet to be recorded and presently is wrapping up service in the direct care business (presently mental health and with the deaf) and in the next few years plans to retire. Her experience in and out of the field of music helps to enhance her creations to tap into the hearts of her audience.
