Anthony Febres is a composer and keyboardist who focuses on the production of Electronica, Alternative, and Experimental music. As keyboard player for the Venezuelan Progressive Rock band Ater Vitae, he blends the sounds of a diverse array of instruments, ranging from synthesizers to the classic sound of the piano. Anthony's music characteristically tells a story without words but through his artful contemporary melodies and atmospheres. Musical influences include icons Frost, Marillion, Porcupine Tree, Daft Punk, Deadmau5, among others.
Progressive Rock was always a part of Anthony Febres growth which leads him to learn to play the piano. Soon after being able to play a couple of melodies, the sound of only one instrument was not enough. The true sound that could help materialize his actual ideas was that of the synthesizer. The iconic music artists who have influenced him show that music creation is only a matter of imagination and creativity.
All in all, a well-suited computer with a DAW and plenty of creativity are the tools that make the sound of today. Being a musician that plays on gigs has its advantages but is not as a rewarding as being the mastermind behind what people hear.
