Nick Barra, also known under the pseudonym BARx, is a classically-trained pianist with a Bachelor's Degree in Audio and Music Production from Western Connecticut State University. He has extensive experience both as a pianist and keyboardist, as a soloist, accompanist, member of orchestras, pit bands, Jazz combos, and Rock bands. His musical influences are broad, including J. S. Bach, John Cage, The Beatles, and deadmau5, but his main musical focus is Electronic Music, in subgenres like Progressive House, Electro House, and Chill Out.
Nick Barra (BARx) recently released an album of self-composed and produced music entitled "Black/White," and continues to write and record covers and original music for his Youtube Channel. He has studied with Grammy-winning composer Paul Avgerinos, collaborated with Emmy-award-winning composer Ed Dzubak, and is currently a member of both the 4 Elements and Getty Images.
