Jairo Lozano is a modern guitar player from Spain, that is involved in several projects as a guitar soloist and also Classical ensembles. He has a very open taste for different styles of music, so that makes him special for this kind of projects like "Pere Soto Guitar Works Vol I" that goes from Baroque to XX century music. Jairo Lozano has a sweet touch and tone and deep approaching to sensibilities of guitar music.
Jairo Lozano Pérez was born in Spain and started his guitar studies with 16 years at the Professional Conservatory of Music "Miguel Fleta" of Monzón with José Antonio Chic. In 2003 he enrolled in the Higher Music Center of the Basque Country "Musikene." After finishing his studies, in 2007, he moved to Augsburg (Germany) to continue his training with Franz Halasz at the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg-Augsburg, finishing with the highest rating.
He will continue his research in the guitar repertoire with Fernando Rodríguez for six years in the city of Barcelona, being a finalist in international competitions.
He has completed advanced courses with Oscar Ghiglia, Leticia Guerra, Carles Trepat, Hugo Geller, Demetrio Ballesteros, Manuel Estévez, Fernando Rodríguez, Junna Sputj, Alex Garrobé and Carlo Marchione, among others.
