The Killermeters began as a punk band in 1977 when, like thousands of others across the country they swapped their clothes, modified their Rock/R'n'B sound and took a lot of speed. They were the best and most energetic band in the industrial Yorkshire town of Huddersfield and played all the club and pub venues in the North of England. Influenced by bands such as The Who, The Jam, and the Small Faces they continue to play to appreciative audiences across Britain.
Influenced by the 60's & 70's UK Mod and Mod Revival bands and acts, this song creates images in the mind reminiscent of long lost summer days and future hopes and dreams that no longer seem as attainable as they were but with hope lingering on, Male Vocals, Pop, 70's Pop
