George Tiakas (Gothic Tracks)Home: Greece George Tiakas (aka Xronir) was born in Thessaloniki, and he first recorded in 1999 in a collection of Fm Records with the band En Lefko (Εν Λευκώ). After a year he released a complete album of En Lefkos containing several compositions and lyrics. In 2002 he set up the Xronir band in which he assumes his role as a songwriter and a composer. George has five releases including “In the mouth of madness” (2003),”Xronir” (2008), “Save the planet” (2012), “Gray Country” (2014), and “Songs for Few” (2016). |

George Tiakas (aka Xronir has participated in the collections of El Rock Vol 2 (2000), Our Voices Of Fear (2009), Underground Dreams (2010), One Response (2013), Rock n Roll Republic (2014), and Underground Dreams 4 (2014). In 2013, he was selected alongside with other well-known artists for the double CD-release for circulation on TV shows. In 2017, he released his first book, a science fiction novel, alongside a CD accompanied by the release "Planet Prison" followed by an analog guitar synthesizer. In the same year, he participated in an anniversary collection for the 30 years of the municipal radio station of Thessaloniki, along with great names mainly of the art scene. His instrumental album “Crossing The Wasteland” will be released early 2018 for a Sci-Fi Terror Movie (Science Fiction soundtrack). Xronir has collaborated with some well-known artists like Lakis Papadopoulos, Yannis Yokarinis, Nikos Ziogalas, Yiannis Miliokas, and Manolis Famelos. |
