US-based Blisswave is the creation of Electronic music composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Michele Leonard. Michele plays piano, synthesizer, hammered dulcimer, djembe, and various percussion instruments. With a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Production, her background in music spans over four decades. She has played in several loosely organized World music bands. Blisswave has recorded and produced two CDs - Journey Through Laniakea was released in 2017, and her latest album, Manvantara, was released in 2019.
Combining the ancient with the technological and futuristic to explore the depths of the ambient genre, Blisswave creates lush and trippy Ambient Electronic music that evokes a sense of mystery and otherworldly, often cinematic soundscapes to take listeners on a journey into the far reaches of the imagination.
