Generic Meds (UK Bass Tracks)Home: Spokane, Washington USA Originally from South Florida, Generic Meds now produces music in Washington State. As a child, he was fascinated with the music in games and film and released his first tracks at 15. Using single or blended genres of Downtempo, IDM, Big-Beat, Trip Hop, and Drum and Bass, his sound revolves around texture, atmosphere, and rhythm. Every track evokes a visual scene. Generic Meds was recognized by Battlefield 3 under another moniker after the game creator discovered his unique interpretation of music from the game. |

Generic Meds started making music at age 12 after discovering "Crockett's Theme" and became obsessed with synthesizers. At that age, he thought synthesizers were giant keyboards that filled huge rooms and required immense power to operate until his father bought him one at age 15 which he still uses to this day. He received his first record contract at age 16. Generic Meds taught himself how to produce and write music. From mixing and engineering to playing keyboard and sound design, Generic Meds covers it all. |
