UK-based group Martyr de Mona is currently cracking skulls across the nation with their huge anthemic Grunge-tinged Metal. Following the release of their hit single "Eva" in 2010, the band went on to release their eponymous debut album in 2011 to huge critical acclaim. Band of the year awards and nominations soon followed. After two UK tours in support of "Impera" and performances with Black Stone Cherry, and Slash, Martyr de Mona has been dubbed the "UK’s answer to Alter Bridge."
Martyr de Mona consists of founding member Louis Hale (vocals/guitar), Joshua Jones (guitar/vocals), Joshua Wooldridge (bass/vocals), and Ashley Leatherland (drums). They released "Impera," produced by Romesh Dodangoda (Funeral For A Friend, Motorhead) to huge acclaim in March 2014, reaching the top ten on the Amazon download charts. The lead single "Influence & Persuasion" reached the Kerrang! Radio top 40 and received mass national airplay on UK and US radio.
