Melchizedek is a dynamic US composer, sound designer, and multi-instrumentalist writing Ambient, Electronic, Epic, Orchestral, and unique Ethnic music. Blending the disparate styles of Epic Film score music, Ambient New Age, and Jazz, his results present a unique yet versatile sound palette that is both adventurous and meditative. Melchizedek's compositions range from atmospheric soundscapes to heroic anthems to intricate harmonic experimentations.
Melchizedek plays trumpet, piano, guitar, and synthesizer, and has been performing and writing music for over a decade with experience ranging from orchestras to jazz ensembles to post-rock bands. His music is firmly rooted in nature and local, transporting listeners to a time, place, or mood. For effect, he composes on location whenever possible and refines pieces in the studio.
Melchizedek composed, recorded, and produced the soundtrack for the "Master Symphony" trilogy of novels by Keith A. Robinson, an ambitious Sci-Fi project in which music was used to power ships and manipulate nature. Melchizedek composed the music to match the instance of a song in the novels in order to immerse the reader in this unique universe. The first book is expected to be released in May 2019.
