UK's Nick Barrett has been singing professionally since the age of 16 and writing and producing music for over 18 years. Influenced by some of the biggest names in RnB such as Usher, Craig David, and Robin Thicke, he combines a uniquely soulful and skilled vocal ability with contemporary songwriting expertise. His aim is to bring back authentic music, melodies and beats that make your head nod and that you can really vibe to. Nick is crushing his live shows all around Europe sharing his love for music and his original style of RnB and Soul.
Nick Barrett achieved European chart success in 2000 with the band Face on Mars when The Bug (written by US songwriter Kenny Young, who also co-wrote the hit pop song Under The Boardwalk) reached No. 1 in the Italian Dance chart.
Nick has released E-Motion, Pt.1 and the album Minor 7th, including featured artist Shana Pearson in a heartfelt duo entitled Forget About You. All the material is solely written and produced in Nick's home studio under the name of SOLBA MUSIC.
