Scary Potter is a songwriter, artist, and engineer who was born and raised in Broward County, Florida. His upbringing in a Colombian household exposed him to a bevy of multi-cultural genres such as Salsa, Merengue, and several other Latin genres. It was not until the age of six that he discovered Hip-Hop. The first song that he ever heard was DMX's "Ruff Ryders’ Anthem," and from then on he immediately fell in love with the culture. Some of the artists who influence Scary Potter today are Key!, 03 Greedo, Young Thug, Tame Impala, and UMO.
