Tim Valdor is a French guitarist, keyboard player, composer, and experienced sync music writer for TV reports, commercials, documentaries, audiovisual productions, and choreographic ballets. As a live musician he acquired a wide range of musical styles such as New Age, World, Orchestral, Progressive Rock, Jazz, Reggae, Latin, Urban, and Electro. Tim’s talent is to create atmospheres adapted to the story that is being told, and his tracks are ideal for series, fiction films, documentaries, TV shows, advertising, sound design, and much more.
Tim Valdor played with many live bands in different styles influences including Yes, Genesis, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, and the Beatles. He traveled to Canada and the US to explore other music universes like Jazz, Funk, and Bossa Nova. He traveled to Amsterdam to play with the N°1 Reggae band of The Netherlands "Revelation Time." He stayed in The Netherlands for 10 years and recorded albums with African artists like Paps Touré or Abdel Kabir. At the same time, he was starting to take an interest in soundtrack music with a commission from a journalist friend who was returning from a trip to India for a documentary on the Rasjasthan. A little later another commission arrived from a Canadian choreographer Benoit Lachambre for a dance show "B. L. E. U. X" which will take him back to USA and Canada for a tour of twenty shows. Back in France he joined the French Alternative Rock group Yan et les Abeilles for the recording of the album "Chansons Apicoles." After many shows with this band he decided to stop the live shows and devote himself fully to his passion for sync music in his studio.
