In 2019, Ohio resident TwiceToasted was selected as 1 of 16 songwriters from around the world to attend a music school in Norway, the Lillehammer Institute of Music and Industries (LIMPI). At this school, he was directly mentored in songwriting by Amund Bjorklund (Irreplaceable - Beyoncé | Hey Soul Sister - Train) and mentored in music production by Tor from Stargate (Rihanna, Ne-Yo, Katy Perry). He is heavily influenced by artists such as Leon Bridges, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Justin Timberlake, John Legend, The Weeknd, & Labrinth.
A K-Pop song written by TwiceToasted during school at LIMPI called Loco was pitched and accepted by K-Pop star REN and debuted on KBS (Korean National TV) in 2022. Due to the success of the song TwiceToasted was invited to a songwriting camp in Seoul, Korea, in November of 2023 to write for the upcoming K-pop girl group IVE Starship. Over a 2-week period, 30+ songs were produced, and 12 were selected for the IVE Starship album set for release in 2023.
