Frank Palmieri

California composer Frank Palmieri writes in a number of styles including Country, Rock, Jazz, Americana, and Musical Theatre. He cut his musical teeth in New York, but now calls Los Angeles home. His music has been featured on TV and in films, and his songs have been performed by various singers and bands. Frank has also released an album featuring his performance of songs he wrote about his adopted city of LA entitled "Angelenos."

Frank Palmieri's many credits include the title torch song for the Billy Bob Thornton film, "A Gun, A Car, A Blonde," and his country song "Never Again" was placed in the CBS Movie-of-the-Week "Plainsong," featuring Rachel Griffiths and Aidan Quinn. Other placements include MTV, "Monk," "Saving Grace," CMT and Access Hollywood. In addition, Frank scored the documentary, "Declarations of War," featured on the STARZ Network, and he composed the theme music for the radio program “Isla Earth. ”
Among his musicals, "Royal Flush," produced in Los Angeles, received rave reviews from the L. A. Times and other publications. Another of his musicals, "McGinty's Wake," was selected by Stephen Schwartz for the prestigious Disney/ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop.
