Tom Francis Muller grew up watching famous artists who performed in his family's nightclub from an early age. It was only natural that he would eventually become a very competent musician and discover a talent for composing. His teenage years saw a hit record and tours with acts such as the Beach Boys and Paul Revere and the Raiders. He kept writing about his experiences. His favorite theme is outer space and all that it encompasses. Presently Tom is at work creating new music in various genres. He loves to create new sounds.
Tom Francis Muller had an early experience selling a commercial jingle to Macy's. This led to more and more clients in his early musical career. He toured and performed with the Beach Boys, Glenn Campbell, and Paul Revere and the Raiders. Tom played piano in eight concerts with the great Chuck Berry. Over four years in the '60s, his band released five singles.
He took all that experience and started composing in the early 2000s, then released his Modern Space Music series.
In the studio, he was taught by Leo de Gar Kulka at Golden State Recorders. This knowledge makes his sound unique, with an understanding of tracking and mixing.
For seven years Tom was the keyboard player for Syndicate of Sound until the lead singer passed in 2021.
Presently, Tom is in Albuquerque, working from his home studio. He has traveled to the Bay Area, done session work, and is considering future live performances in Ashland, Oregon, and Santa Fe.
The music Tom creates is unique and covers many different genres which appeal to a wide spectrum of people.
Happy-go-lucky light jazz piece that has the feel of a sunny summer day. Guitar, flute, and trumpet add the piano stylings similar to the great Vince Guaraldi. Instrumental, Jazz, Bebop
Cosmic Rays are everywhere. If you were to catch one flying through the atmosphere, you could only hear it, and this is what it might sound like. Blink, and it's gone, and you'll really never see them. Only hear them. Instrumental, Jazz, Modern Jazz
The timeless continuum of life eroding in its final form to morph into another, only to repeat the process indefinitely. Infinity begets the aspect of eternal life as it is not known to mortals. Instrumental, Jazz, Cool Jazz
The Kuiper Belt is the vast edge of our Solar System. It contains many objects near or smaller than the dwarf Planet Pluto. So there must be Kuiper Dreams. It would be good as a transitional or even the opening for an intense film. Also the setup for something that's about to happen. Vocal Pads, Jazz, Nu Jazz
Jazzbo Collins was the radio king of San Francisco in the 50s and 60s. He was cool. He had a goatee when no one else did. "I Done Got to Show you No Stinkun Bages" from the Bogart film was his famous quote. Jazzbo was jazz. Instrumental, Jazz, Bebop
You've been thrown into the void of space by accident or because you were guilty. It's a different world living in space for long periods of life. There is a form of capital punishment that is meted out only when all else is not possible, and your worth is none. Instrumental, Jazz, Cool Jazz
