Both Murmurwood members previously played in popular Rock and Pop bands and were known for their contributions to the Rock and Pop genre. The journey from Rock to Electronic Dance music was daring, but the members described it as a rewarding process that allowed them to explore new creative solutions. In their musical exploration, the gentlemen of Murmurwood not only experiment with electronic elements but also strive to integrate the sound of live instruments, creating a melodic thread that often takes center stage in their compositions.
When asked about the choice of the name Murmurwood, the members emphasize their connection to wooded areas, drawing inspiration from the sounds and harmonies one might encounter in the forest—an experience unique to their origins. "We won't hide that we love visiting and being in the woods. Many can't imagine the amazing and unique sounds one can hear there. Sometimes, after creating our music, we take it to the woods, play it softly through portable speakers, and listen. Of course, we do this quietly to avoid disturbing the forest inhabitants and visitors."
