Charles McCrorey is recording engineer born and raised in New York City. While starting his career as an assistant engineer at one of New York City's most prominent recording studios and eventually working his way into a staff position, he was developing his skills as a producer and programmer. His engineering experience includes work with artists which range from hip-hop legends A Tribe Called Quest to pop sensation Britney Spears.
Although Charles has been exposed to a wide variety of musical talent as an engineer, his musical inspirations as a composer and producer more reflect the soul music his parents exposed him to combined with the current dance and urban sounds of contemporary musical styles such as neo-soul, house music and traditional rhythm & blues.
A mellow mid-tempo track with jazz & neo-soul undertones which could have been used as a backing track for lyrics by A Tribe Called Quest or a Sade song when both artists were in their heyday. Instrumental, RnB, Neo-Soul
A mellow, yet uplifting mid-tempo track with a jazz swing in the rhythm as carried by the punchy organ throughout the chorus and the bouncy breakdown at the end. Brings to mind a walk in the park with an intimate friend or a cozy dinner for 2 at a nightclub. The rhythm is supported by funky congas. Instrumental, RnB, Neo-Soul
