Talented Composer Richard Freitas for years split his time between Connecticut and NYC with over 1,200 of his compositions broadcast in 60 countries. With three Emmy nominations, two Grammy nominations, and seven International Telly Awards, his music has been featured on Blue Bloods, Chicago Fire, Younger, and multiple seasons of Mad Men, and also appears on CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, MTV, AMC, TNT, HBO, Disney, Sony, and many more. During his storied musical career, Richard's music has been heard on Saturday Night Live, Grey's Anatomy, America's Got Talent, The X-Files, etc.

In addition to all of the above credits, the fabulous Richard Freitas's music has been heard on Burn Notice, How I Met Your Mother, American Idol, Let's Make a Deal, The Defenders, The Closer, Better Off Ted, House, Burn Notice, So You Think You Can Dance, Royal Pains, 90210, Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers, Square OneTV, Rosie O’Donnell, Passions, American Pickers, and The X-Files. It also has been featured in commercials for Master Card Priceless, Mars Candy Bars, Jenny Craig, Avon, Old Navy, Verizon, Subway, Dairy Queen, I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter, Toys R Us, Mattel, and in video games such as BioShock 2 for X Box 360 and Play Station 3.

His music was also featured in promos for Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, 20/20, General Hospital and Jimmy Kimmel.

Richard shared his fantastic musical career with his wife, Gerri Brioso (Producer, Director, and Composer), and a big, fuzzy, goofy, sweetheart of a dog named Tootsie.
